Green News From DIT at Cody

We are excited to share the below profile of DIT @ Cody from the Southeast Michigan Stewardship Coalition (http://semiscoalition.org/). The SEMIS Coalition facilitates school-community partnerships to develop students as citizen-stewards of healthy ecological-social systems and partners with several DPS GGC schools such as DIT@ Cody and Neinas Elementary. In addition to resident rock star of all things STEAM, Chad Segrist, who is highlighted below, several other DPS teachers were involved in the formation Cody’s place-based education work such as Dr. Tamyra Rhodes-O’Neill and Ms. Ramona Gligor, who now continue their work at Westside Academy and Osborn MST, respectively
