This month we have fully started to focus on our capstone project beyond just the planning stages. We started by decorating recycling boxes for the Library. We decided on the library because our Librarian already had a couple of un-decorated cardboard boxes that he used for recycling. We wanted to start with them to help highlight our project to the student body at large. Our goal is by having these bins around the library and eventually different places in the school to gain the attention of our fellow classmates in order to recruit them in helping to design more bins for the school. We hope that by doing this we will be able to get more students to join the green team in the execution of our capstone project. We plan to have the bins completed by this Thursday February 18, 2016. We will continue to work on other aspects of our capstone project such as our teacher workshops in the coming weeks. More about that next month!
