The Green Team at Munger is planting their garden this week!
The Green Team, led by Sustainability Coordinator, Ms. Shangaleza Robinson, is learning how to read seed packets for the Plan and Plant Your Garden activity! The students planted their seeds in honor of their mothers for Mother’s Day which is on Sunday, May 14th.

The Green Team at Ann Arbor Trail Tasted the Colors of the Rainbow!
The Green Team at Ann Arbor Trail is learning how to eat healthy this week with the Rainbow Plates activity!
The team, led by Sustainability Coordinator Mr. Pratt, were introduced to healthy foods with a taste test! The team got to “test” oranges, grapes and other yummy fruit!

The Green Team at Sampson-Webber Plans and Promotes!
The Green Team at Sampson-Webber Leadership Academy worked on planning their garden and also made posters to promote healthy eating!
The team, led by Sustainability Coordinator Mrs. Lashon Clay, were able to feed two birds with one seed today. Next week the students will begin planting!

The Green Team at the Detroit International Academy for Young Women Tracks Their Food Footprint!
The Green Team at DIA learned where food comes from and how far it has to travel to reach their plate!
The team, led by Sustainability Coordinator Mrs. Courtney Valentine, did the Rainbow Plates activity last week, so this week they are learning about where food comes from, what is healthy and what is not.
