Power Down For Thanksgiving!
Save your school energy and water while earning one Innovation point for your Green Team! Have your Green Team meet with your school’s facility manager to come up with the best strategy for powering down over Thanksgiving break!
To save the most energy, you’ll need every light and appliance in every classroom and office turned off. We suggest making a PA announcement the week of 11/21 and the morning of the last day, Tuesday 11/22, We also suggest distributing reminders to power down to teachers and staff and during the last period ask students to take five minutes to power down each classroom before they leave.
To earn this point, you must submit an Innovation Project Submission Form along with two (2) photos via Credly.

Less Than Two Weeks Left in DPSCD Go Green Recycling Challenge!
The last day of the Recycling Challenge is Wednesday, November 30th! Be sure to submit all your activities for points on Credly!
For the Recycle Bowl, make sure you record and submit your data by December 15th!
In order to earn two points for the Recycle Bowl, you must submit the “Weight Data Tracker” via Credly using the code: GGCRecycleBowl.
